Product Description
BonJour's collection of clad cookware offers precise control over the cooking process with an elegant, European flair. Clad metal construction is the preferred fabrication by professional and home chefs alike. The interior layer of each pan is crafted of pure 18/10 stainless steel which is non-reactive and doesn't adversely affect the flavor of delicate ingredients or subtle sauces. The exterior is made of magnetized steel which is induction suitable and polished to a beautiful mirror finish. The key to clad cookware is the heat conductive metal core layered in between the stainless steel throughout the entire pan. BonJour's unique design offers better heat conduction than traditional clad cookware because its thicker base evenly directs the heat up the side walls and around the pan. The result is stunning cookware that heats up quickly and evenly and provides a lifetime of exceptional performance. The culinary heritage that introduced buttery, delicate sauces and bold, lush wines reinvents itself in new clad cookware from BonJour. Time-honored tradition and attention to detail made these quintessentially French delights international favorites. The same care and commitment to excellence can be found in BonJour's clad collection, which is why it's the preferred cookware in the famed Eiffel Tower restaurant. With its bold silhouettes, generously appointed fittings and exceptional performance, they will be your favored culinary tools as well. The 10-piece copper clad set includes 1.5-quart, 3-quart covered saucepans, 3-quart covered saute pan, 8-quart covered saucepan and 8-inch and 10-inch skillets.

Drop Dead Beautiful
By mary lynn wolfe
I got this set for Christmas last year and have used them heavily. I replaced a set of Wearever that I bought from a friend who was selling them door-to-door in the 1960's. They were heavy aluminum lined with stainless and wonderful to cook with, but they were showing their age and my new kitchen needed something really good looking on the stove in the island. These cook as well or better than my old pans. They are identical in cooking characteristics to the two pieces of AllClad with copper that I also have. And, they are drop dead beautiful! They still look new after a year of heavy use; the insides polish up nicely with Bar Keepers Friend.

Excited and pleased with them.

UPDATE: Have had these pots for a little over a year now. Fantastic!!!I bought the 10 piece set online for $795....shipping included. They arrived in less than a week and I'm quite happy with this set. I looked at the All-Clad copper clad set in stores and held them and they obviously felt heavy and substantial, but these puppies are HEAVY!! The curved handle feels a bit more comfortable than the straight All-Clad handles. The other difference is the All-Clad frying pans have a more slanted side. These are rounded at the bottom corners and come more straight up from there. The BonJour set also has the more rounded lids which I personally like, and they have nice, high handles so you can get your fingers under there when lifting, especially with a potholder or mitts. I'll admit I'm a bit of a novice at this, I've had several Calphalon non-stick sets and those were nice, but these pots are at least three times heavier. Did I mention they were heavy? From what I had read about the BonJour set, the bottoms are supposedly thicker than other clad pots, but they never really gave any detailed info about what brands they were going against. However, from one source, at least, the copper inside the BonJour pots was a bit thicker than the All-Clads. Visually, the All-Clads have that copper ring around the side which I didn't really care for, but that's a matter of personal taste. The BonJour set has the copper core visible around the lip when you look directly down at the top of the pan. You can see clearly the separate layers of aluminum and copper around the lip of each pot if you look directly down at the pot from above. Got that? This set looks really nice, too. Maybe a tiny bit more 'feminine' than the All-Clads because of the rounded lids and more "french-looking" handles, but very visually attractive. The photo is a bit misleading because it looks like the sides of the pots and pans may be rounded, but that's not the case. They have a slightly rounded bottom edge where it turns up to form the side wall, but it goes up straight from there. The lids are domed but they look great and give you more room inside the pot than the flat All-Clad lids. They certainly seem every bit as sturdy, if not more so, as the All-Clads.The handles and lids are better designed than the All-Clad, in my opinion. Because the handle flares where it connects to the pan, leaving a "V" shaped hole, you can use that as leverage to help tilt and pour by putting a finger into that hole area near the pan part. (although you may need to use a towel so you don't burn your fingers). I'm totally happy with these. Just be aware that these type of pots and pans are HEAVY and it takes some muscle to turn a pan when it's empty, let alone when it's full. They also clean up well with the "Bartender's Friend" cleanser and one of those stainless steel scrubbing coil thingys. Those are a MUST for easy cleaning. The stainless steel coils work MUCH better than one of those Scotch brand type sponges with the rough scrubber side. Use the coils with the Bartender's Friend!! Cleans up nice and easy. All I can say is.... these are some heavy pots and pans and they look absolutely great!! Would definitely recommend.

10 piece Factory Set ( incomplete )
By JHunt
These are excellent pots...but what they fail to tell you is there are a additional 9 piece that aren't included in this factory set. And once you get spoil by cooking with the Bonjour Copper Clad. You are going to want to get the "Complete Set". And to do that you are going to have to buy piece by piece from amazon or other seller. These are the most beautiful pot you will ever see and they clean up well with Bar Keepers Friends. All you do is put a couple drops of dish liquid and a couple cups of warm water and let set for 10-15 mins, Dump water and add about a teaspoon of Bar Keepers and just use a sponge, you'll be amaze how bright and shining like new. If you havn't cook with stainless steel before, there is a learning curve. The best way is to go to youtube.com and find some hints on cooking and care of stainless steel cooking. Below are the names of the piece that are not included in this set* 10' Covered Braiser* 12' Open Skillet* 4 Quart Covered Dutch Oven* 5 Quart Covered Saute* 6.5 Quart Covered Chef Pan
