There are better options

I bought the set on the official website where there is a sale. I don't know about how it compare to stainless with or without only aluminum core. But it does not match the performance of Copper Core series from All Clad. The copper layers in these pots are super thin and looks like a very cheap knock off of the All Clads where the other one has 66% of the pot made of copper. And yes, the foods do stick on the pan if you do high temperature techniques, sometimes very badly. I later got an All clad chefs pan, and it worked like a charm.Over all it is a set that gets the job done. Any comparison with much less expensive pots is appreciated. Your probably want to grab a few All Clad Copper Core which you use everyday, and all others regular stainless without any fancy copper inside, which you get both performance and the price.

The wife was ecstatic over the product; style, quality, and performance. The was a pricey set even at holiday discount. I am still unable to register the product on Calphalon's web site, since it is not listed as an option (lifetime warranty).
