Not safe for food preparation!

When you dry the pot with a paper towel the towel is turns black. Washed the pot with strong detergent and boiled it several times but each time the paper towel turns black when drying the pot. This pot is made in China and is not safe for food preparation. When wiping a stainless steel pot there should be no residue left behind on the towel.

the cookware works great, have'nt tried the steamer basket yet, waiting for those fresh summer veggies... the cookware is heavy duty, only con i found are those spot welded handles, would rather see riveted handles.

This Excelsteel product has a good heavy bottom, is well-made, and is extremely affordable. Great gift to new householders. This is a GOOD DEAL.
