So far so good
By David K. Fields
These seem to be great. Easy to clean and doesn't have the material that scratches and flakes off. I would definitely recommend them.

Stylish cookware set with great thermal conductivity
By Christopher
I love this set so far! The pots and pans appear to be extremely durable/sturdy. I have washed them in the dishwasher and they came out spot-free and beautiful!I also love the styling and details on the pans. I especially like the shiny silver lids, and the details on all of the handles. They look very classy, all the way from the outside in. You can tell they are nice pans and I expect they will last a long, long time. I especially love the pots and the steamer that comes with the larger pot, as I've never owned a proper steamer before! The pans cook very nice and evenly, though they do conduct heat much better than my old pans. This means they get much hotter at lower stove settings than my previous cookware. This takes a little getting used to, but now that I've got it down, my food turns out just how I want it every time. I love to cook things that have a nice crisp on the outside and a moist inside, and that is much more doable with these than with what I used before. Overall, I've found that the better thermal conductivity gives you much better control and opens a broader range of cooking possibilities. It just takes a little getting used to.The only bummer is that if you are a messy/poor cook like me, and happen to really burn something in your pan, it is fairly difficult to get the dark splatter out of the pan. But, if you follow the instructions that come with the set (mix water and dishwasher detergent in the pan, bring to a boil and let simmer for 15 minutes), any stubborn food stains seem to come right off. (NOTE: The key for me was to use the dishwasher detergent. The first time I tried removing burned food residue, I didn't want to bother with getting out the detergent and used regular kitchen soap instead. It didn't work. For whatever reason, the dishwasher detergent seems to be the magic bullet.)Another possible surprise is that the pans are a little smaller than you might expect from the product's picture. They are all true to the dimensions listed online, but are a little smaller than I would have expected just based on the picture (I had to look at Cuisinart's website to find the dimensions since they don't appear to be on this page, but I've copied the dimensions from their website below so others don't have to go searching). That was actually good news for me, as I only ever cook for two and used to have issues with my pots/pans being too large for the portion sizes I wanted to cook. But, if you frequently cook for large numbers of people (ie, meals for 10+ people) it might be difficult to prepare everything in these.Overall, I would highly recommend these to others. Mixed feelings
By E. Horwitz
I received my set and started cooking with it. Love the way it cooks. Pans are beautiful. Well weighted and the handles really do stay cool. But they are horrible to clean. I was afraid to use steel wool on them and despite soaking they would not come clean. Am returning them much to my disappointment.
