Great stuff just wish they had smaller pans

I ended up giving the bigger pans to my sister who has 3 large boys I don't need them that big. I am keeping a look out for smaller ones as these are nice heavy pans.The only thing I don't like about them is if your water is boiling and you have the lid on it causes the lid to rattle and splashes liquid all over the stove so it's hard to use thses pans for simmering your food.

One of these pots is 14 1/2 inches in diameter and 5 inches deep. The tallest pot is 13 inches in diameter and 9 inches deep. The "frying" pan is 12 X 2 and the smallest dutch oven is 10 inches in diameter and 4 1/2 inches deep. The smallest pot is 9 inches in diameter and 3 !/2 inches deep.First time I used the "fry" pan for waterless cooking, I followed all instructions: Wash first in dishsoap and vinegar, cook without salt, cook only on medium or low heat, don't leave dry pan on heat, don't store cooked food in pan, etc... My food turned out perfectly cooked and delicious (mushrooms, red peppers, chard and garlic with 1/4 c water.)I had no burning or sticking whatsoever, and my veggies were actually sitting in water when done.However, the bottom of the pan did not come clean. There are some faint brownish spots and a blue/brown swirl. I washed the pan well with soap and vinegar, but I'm thinking maybe it should have soaked and I should have really scrubbed them. They warn that if factory oils are not removed before cooking that brown spots will occur. They warn that if heat is too high the blueish cast might appear. I started with 1/4 cup water, used medium heat on my electric burner, added veggies and covered, then turned to low once it began to steam. Perhaps my medium is too hot.I used the smallest dutch oven to boil pasta. It came perfectly clean. I like the set, but would not recommend to those who want perfectly spotless pans.More instructions would really help. Also, no receipt came and the name of the product is not on the warranty or the page of instructions. Make sure to print out your Amazon receipt, as it is required for the warranty.

Beautiful but awfully large pieces and no instructions

I love the stainless steel pans but I didn't realize just how large around each piece is. It would have helped if the dimensions of each pan were listed with the information. The tallest cooker is okay but the roaster that is shorter does not fit on my glass cooktop. I might be able to use it on an outdoor cooktop sometime. The lids aren't interchangeable and if you put them upside down in the pan you can't get them out unless you turn the pan upside down or put the plastic strips between them that came with the set. There also are no instructions but having had waterless cookware before, I am able to use them. They are beautiful pans but also heavy!
