Pots and pans NOT made in USA

These pans are NOT made in the USA as indicated. The website has "Made in USA" all over it and the product description said the products were made in USA unless otherwise noted. These said they were made in USA however they are marked "Made in China" on the bottom of each pan. The box said they are packaged in Wisconsin but also says they are Made in China (which I didn't notice until the recipient noticed it on Christmas). I am very, very disappointed. The site is misleading!

Not regular Regal Ware

This is an FYI post as I have not actually purchased the product though I thought about it which is why I did this research. This pan set is actually made by Regalware Food Service and not Regal Ware. Regalware Food Service is Regal's old commercial division that they sold to Focus Products Group (based in Illinois) in 2007 (FPG also bought all of West Bend except the cookware lines from Regal Ware back in 2003). Regular Regal Ware is only sold direct and not via retail channels (with the exception of their now defunct American Kitchen line) and is still all made in Wisconsin. The Regalware Food Service sets produced by Focus Products Group are intended to be sold to the hospitality market for things like extended stay hotel rooms and some of their product is produced overseas and some is not. It is confusing that the same brand name is used by two different companies, but then again these pans are only intended to be sold commercially and not to consumers.

Aluminum rivots started leaking corrosion

I have had this set for only about a month and I just noticed a white powder build up on the inside of three pots around the seam of the rivet. Its the same powder that you normally see on the outside of pots with aluminum rivets. The company did not even want to consider doing anything or explain what or why this was happening. They just said that there was nothing wrong and to scrub it off. I gave this item 1 star because they can be expensive, they are suppose to be high quality and I am completely dissatisfied. I returned another set that I had bought.
